MEET KAILEY 

Hey! My name is Kailey Wendland and I am from Round Lake, Minnesota. I was born and raised in Minnesota and I absolutely love everything about this state. Well, maybe not the cold weather all winter long, but I love being a midwestern girl. 

I recently graduated from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD where I received my degree in Advertising, Marketing, and Social Media. College was one fun rollercoaster and WOW did I meet the BEST people along the way, but when coming home I asked myself, "What's next?" I was ready to get on the next fun ride of life and coming home made me realize that the next ride was taking a seat next to my childhood best friend and starting an online boutique. 

Clothing has always been a passion of mine. I was always the girl in high school that no matter what day it was, I showed up with curled hair and in an outfit that made me feel confident. No matter how tired I was or how late my sporting event went the night before, I always made time to make sure I picked out just the right outfit. Being from the midwest, I have always felt like there is a stereotype that says we can't dress the same way someone from other parts of the U.S. can, we can't say up-to-date with the latest trends, we have to dress like a marshmallow for a half of year...but none of these facts are true. I want women to dress in whatever makes them feel cute and confident. If you want to wear heels, wear heels. If you want to wear a big hat, wear the big hat. If you want to wear a furry jacket, wear the furry jacket. The generation we grow up in is all about supporting girls and giving them the power to do whatever makes them happy, so it is time that we stop judging what someone looks like and let them be their true happy self. 

I hope after reading this and checking out our store, you decide to add something from our collection to your closet that won't make your friends happy, that won't make your family happy, that won't make your boyfriend happy, but something that will make you truly HAPPY. Every girl deserves to feel their best every day and your day starts today!

MEET LAURA

Hi there! My name is Laura Koepsell, and I am from Round Lake, MN. I was born in Eau Claire, WI and moved to the Worthington, MN area when I was 3 years old! And yes, I am a Packer fan. GO PACK GO!!

I graduated from high school in 2015. The September after I graduated, I started beauty school at Avalon School of Cosmetology in Worthington. In only 11 months I graduated and accepted a job in Mankato, MN at the JCPenney salon. I worked there for a year and came to the conclusion that home is where I wanted to be. The hairstylist that I went to in high school was opening a salon, and I knew that it was meant to be! I have been working at Salon Seven for just over 2 years, and I love it!

Clothing is my love language. I would rather spend my money on a new outfit than buying something important. LOL! I love dressing up and feeling cute. As the saying goes, “Look good, feel good.” Am I right?! Growing up, I always felt insecure about my body and the way that I looked, but clothes have always made me feel more confident in myself! In my opinion, I think many girls would agree. Over the years, I have learned that it doesn't matter what others think of you. All that matters is feeling confident in yourself. If you know the person that I am, you know that I'm probably one of your biggest cheerleaders. Cheering you on and standing by your side through all the ups and downs of life because I want everyone to feel beautiful and loved. It has always been my dream to open a boutique, and my chance has finally come. My goal is to be able to share my passion with others and make them feel beautiful!
